Subscription Terms

These terms supplement Votion's Terms of Service. In the event of conflict, the Terms of Service control.
1. Subscription Plans and Pricing
Votion offers multiple subscription tiers. Current plans, pricing, and included features are displayed on the pricing page. Pricing is subject to change with 30 days' advance notice (see Section 6).
2. Billing Cycle and Charges
When you subscribe, you authorize Votion to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
Monthly subscriptions are billed on the same date each month as your initial purchase date.
Annual subscriptions are billed on the same date each year as your initial purchase date.
All prices are in US dollars and exclude applicable taxes, which are calculated at checkout based on your location.
If your billing date falls on a date that does not exist in a given month (e.g., the 31st), you will be billed on the last day of that month.
3. Automatic Renewal
Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price for your plan, unless you cancel before the renewal date. You will not receive a separate bill or invoice before each renewal charge. By subscribing, you acknowledge that your subscription has a recurring payment feature and you accept responsibility for all recurring charges.
We will send a renewal reminder email at least 7 days before your annual subscription renews.
Monthly subscribers may opt into renewal reminders in account settings.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. You may also cancel through the Stripe Customer Portal linked from your account page.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access to paid features until your current period expires.
No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period.
After cancellation, your account reverts to the free tier. Your data is retained per our data retention policy.
5. Refund Policy
Monthly subscriptions: No refunds for partial months. If you cancel within 48 hours of your first subscription charge and have not used paid features, you may request a full refund by contacting support@votionplatform.com.
Annual subscriptions: If you cancel within 14 days of your initial annual purchase or annual renewal and have not substantially used paid features, you may request a prorated refund by contacting support@votionplatform.com.
Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Votion reserves the right to deny refund requests where paid features have been substantially used.
6. Price Changes
Votion may change subscription prices at any time. If we increase the price of your plan:
We will notify you by email at least 30 days before the new price takes effect.
The new price applies at your next billing cycle after the notice period.
If you do not cancel before the new price takes effect, your continued use constitutes acceptance of the new price.
Price decreases take effect immediately at the next billing cycle.
7. Failed Payments
If a payment fails:
We will attempt to charge your payment method up to 3 additional times over 7 days.
We will notify you by email of the failed payment and ask you to update your payment method.
If payment cannot be collected after all retry attempts, your subscription will be marked as past due. After 14 days in past-due status, your subscription may be canceled and your account reverted to the free tier.
8. Trial Periods
If your subscription includes a free trial:
You will not be charged during the trial period.
Your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before the trial expires.
The price you will be charged after the trial is displayed at signup.
9. Modifications and Upgrades
You may upgrade your plan at any time. The price difference is prorated for the remainder of your current billing period.
You may downgrade your plan at any time. The downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

Colorado Auto-Renewal Disclosure (CRS 6-1-732)
As required by Colorado law, the following disclosures are made clearly and conspicuously:
1. Automatic renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew for successive periods of the same duration as your initial term (monthly or annually) unless you cancel.
2. Cancellation policy: You may cancel at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
3. Recurring charges: The recurring charge amount for your plan is displayed at checkout and on your account settings page. Charges recur monthly or annually based on your selected billing cycle.
